J Mac – A Hoop Dream

by admin on March 22, 2010

A few years ago, then-18-year-old Jason McElwain — an autistic high school student from Rochester, N.Y. — became a national sensation when video clips circulated of him scoring 20 points in the final four minutes of his first and only varsity basketball game.

Be forewarned, this video will likely bring a couple tears to your eyes.

Woah! This one is a little long, but if you want to skip to the middle you’ll see that she can play along, or play back what she hears.

And yes, she’s 5 years old, blind, and has never learned to play piano, but somehow… she can play anyway!

Pretty crazy, and I wonder how awesome she’ll be when she’s 10, or 15 years old. Look out world!
